Political system of the Guild

Guild Politics is a 3 tier affair not counting the administrators or ambassadors.

The top tier is the Cabinet who advise and assist the Guild Master in all major affairs of the Guild, It is also the cabinet that decides on the budgets for all systems and how the military are deployed. (all ambassadors are counted as cabinet members but under their system name with 'affairs minister'

The tier below that is the Inner Forum. The top 10 companies are chosen every 1 year (to keep up with the market, it's decided upon by stocks and networth) and laws have to verified and approved before heading up to the cabinet to agree upon. These ten companies have three 'permenant' members, the Gen shipyards, Portech and Central Mining Company.

The bottom tier is the Outer Forum. The most democractic section of the Guild, this area is the first step on the road to law making and has 400 representatives sitting that are elected via systems, colony, station and civilian capital ship elves who are not employees of a company. Any Bill/act/directive starts here.

In charge of the proceedings in the Cabinet is the Guild Master, In the Inner forum the 'jehan' or speaker and on the outer forum an administrator and ambassador elected to represent them every 20 years.
