There are two planets in this system both are heavily restricted areas with a shoot on site order throughout the guarding fleet. The covert operations int he area is disguised very well as a big time mining operation.

3 Stealth frigates jumped into the system, quickly moving away and watching the system to note the entire system down before pulling out. These were the people from TFL and they were curious to monitor these humans as much as possible.

8471 and 8472 had quickly escaped from their captivity. It was easy to overpower the weak security that was guarding them. Their blood remained spattered in the corridors. The duo had stolen a frigate and jumped to Hyperspace heading towards Guild space.

TFl sent the stealth message to Kilios, they had alerted the security forces of the presence of the frigate, but remained in the system until all availiable data had been gathered.

The remaining fleet forces began searching extensively for the two escapees and as standard security procedure began blocking any senors scans of the system set up beacons to disrupt FTL travel into and out of the system. The captain leading the search gulped. The Junta would be furious.

TFL had at this time, portalled out. They weren't wanting a repeat of Omega 1 and it would be embarrassing.

The Attack Dreadnought 'Invincible' had been prepared by the Spectre agents all they awaited was the green light to get going. They received it and prepped the Hyperdrive. The experimental stealth systems were all on line and they jumped to Hyperspace.

While the battle in Omega 1 carried on, a Gol`Goshan invasion fleet portaled in. It consited of:

They began a blitzgrieg stlye attack on the first planet nearest their arrival.

A much larger fleet than the one in OMEGA 1 awaited the Gol it consisted of

The 15 Chinese kamikaze ships got between the Gol ships and detonated themselves. The rest of the fleet began an all out bombardment on the Gol ships from behind well out of range of their Matter Forges.

Though out of the range of the Matter Forges, they were still with in range of their lancer beams, and Plasma launchers. They focused on the suiced ships, and as the plasma ate through the armor they explode before they could leave the fleet formation, causing a large hole to be made in the UOSO's defense. The Gol`Goshan fleet pushed through the hole, and flanked the enemy defenses. Devided, the enemy was now half as strong untill they could regroup. The Gol`Goshan Fleet continued the push to the planet.

The entire human fleet pulled back and regrouped. They went into a arrowhead formation and pierced the side of the Gol fleet and began forcing their way through the ships and began eating away at the fleet from the inside.

The Gol fleet was in close formation, and as the UOSO fleet penetrated the Gol`Goshan fleet, they found out you should not get that close to them. The Gol`Goshan ships turned on the UOSO ships. Most of the smaller ships never stood a chance as they were consumed by larger ships, and only the largest their, those as large or larger than the Etus, could survive the attack.

The human ships pulled back and the fleet's fighters had been cut in half by that stunt. The only ships that did not retreat were the Kamikaze ships which self destructed before anything could interrupt them. Meanwhile a five ship force of Putins fire into the fleet in hopes of doing more damage.

They got return fire in responce. Lancer beams danced arcoss their hulls, causing their shields to weaken. A salvo of plasma rounds, finshed the job, and began to eat away at their armor.

Several 'Mary Rose's' exploded and several Putins took damage. The UOSO fleet opened fire again concentrating on double or even triple teaming Gol ships in hopes of doing enough damage to destroy them.

They were able to destroy several Orans and Vertus, but the larger ships were more resistant. The Gol`Goshan fleet head towards the planet.

This was when several hundred red dots light up on the planet and fired at the Gol Ships in orbit preventing them from simply devouring the planet by conventional means.

The Gol`Goshan fleet continued an agressive orbit. Along the way, several undred large objects were dropped. They fell some distance before slowing down near the enemy defenses. As they cooled, a glossy black obsidian serface appeared. Red lines appeared along the surface, and three thick tenticals unfolded. It looked like a giant squid, but with out the fins, and was facited instead of smooth. It pulsated from the top of the head down to the bottom of the tenticals. A beam of energy shot out of a tentical, and it cut across the city down below. Several building fell. A large maw opened up under neith, and the debris was sucked up into the thing.

The conquest of humans was not going to be as easy as that as several Russian Land Disruptors were in low orbit and began to disrupt the strange Gol machines operations. While human troops began to open fire and hoped to find someway destroying the machines.

The orbiting were taken out as the Gol`Goshan fleet continued orbit. The Etus were trading blows with the land defense, while the other ships formed a screen above the Etus, keeping the enemy ships from getting to close.

On the ground the Machinations, as they were called by the Gol`Goshan, fired on the retaliating human forces. Though it could out range most weapons, it did not move from it's spot to engage enemy forces. Instead, several tenticalled drones dropped from the thing, and began to attack the ground forces in the city.

A drone, about ten meters in length from head to tip of the tenticals, latched on to a tank, and ripped it apart. Another dived into a building that soldiers were using to fire on the drones. Though they were fast and deadly, they were not unstoppable. AA fire from gattling cannons, took out several before they could attack.

This was when the big gun began to role out. Several hundred differently marked tanks appeared out of the wood works. These had experimental weapons loaded on board. So insted of firing shells they fired beams each with different effects currently the beams were set to shoot a condensed beam of hundreds of ions. The tanks opened fire on the Machinations while the troops retreated into any weapon defenses they could find such as Gatling guns and Telsla Turrets which fired a powerful electrical charge at enemy units.

The UOSO fleet gather and attacked the screen determined to shatter it while the Land to space defenses continued trading blows with the Etus.

The Machinations, which were hundreds of meters tall, took the damage in stride. The drones began to swarm defense. They took huge losses, but were able to silence several defensive positions. Three large drones dropped out of the Machination. They stood up on three tenticals, and unferaled several smaller one undernieth their triangular bodies.

The UOSO took this time to load up all experimental tech from the planets onto the remaining City ships and then high tailed it out of the system. The fleet provided covering fire before retreating also.

The Gol and retreating ships from Omega 1 entered the system. They began to orbit the planet, and the fleet that was here originaly also began to spread out. Eventualy the entire planet was covered by Gol`Etus evenly. There were few in number but it was enough to begin consumption anyways. Large cones of debris and matter were sucked up, and even the Machinations and their drone-spawn were sucked up.

A small cloaked probe watched the devastation and recorded it.
