A day on Apollo

Binary had been enjoying her life so far. Granted, her life was only 1minuite and 18.7 seconds and couting, but she couldn't help but be attracted to objects that to even other Scouts were mundane. She was currently wandering around the streets in a daze, gawking at virtually everything she came across, from the dome - like Office Buildings to the spires that towered as far as she could crane her neck and then some.

While looking at the same spire, she hadn't noticed a fleeing crowd running behind her...

Ny Hemi was not happy, why out of all places in the 25 core systems of the Guild did she have to explore a city of small people... to her it made very little sense. As her white robe sweeped along the concrete she was being careful with her arms of the buildings each side. Then there was the crowd, Ny wasn't in the mood for them, yet she tolerated them for a good reason.

Binary, not noticing the panic going on behind her, walked on. As she was examining a letter box, the ground seemed to jump. The letter box appeared to fall over, pinning her legs. Another shake from the ground caused it to fly off. Binary decided she didn't like the ground jumping around, and was hoping it would stop soon. After all, she didn't want to be sick on her first day of life...

Ny stopped. For the first time her Bright aqua eyes looked down, her face didn't look impressed. "lovely, a local who isn't scared." came her irratable comment. Although not as though she minded, it was easier for her to stop and concentrate on something else.

Binay got up. She looked up...and up...and up. She didn't know what it was, or how to describe it, other than "big.". Not knwing what to do, she looked up and waved, yelling "hi!" at the top of her lungs. Binary wasn't aware of the fact her yells barely reached this thing's ears.

Binary gawked as the creatue's huge face came closer. She noticed it seemed to be having trouble with the city.

"Are you Okay?" she asked with her mouse squeakish voice.

Binary was almost deafened by the big thing's voice. "Can you be a little quieter maybe?" she asked "i have a headache."
